![]() ![]() The nuanced character development some of the characters had at the end (Rowan and Ciprien) was also delightful. ![]() Leaving the woes of acting, direction and pacing, it's wonderful how the plot was tied together at the end, it surely had a finale feel. ![]() Jack Huston as Lasher also doesn't give off the haunting and dangerous feel his character is meant to have. Alexandra Daddario is also a good actress (she also looks the part of a witch) so it's a shame that the direction of the series doesn't bring that out. The world premiere will take place across BBC America. ![]() The pacing is slow, and seeing how powerful the protagonist is meant to be (and hinted to be) it's frustrating seeing how she was tossed around like a badminton by the other characters. Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches will launch next month via a five-network simulcast premiere on AMC Networks. It's especially sad seeing how wonderfully the first television series in the Rice's immortal universe did - interview with the vampire. The second television series in the Rice's immortal universe holds elements reminiscent of many hit series like the vampire diaries but doesn't quite hit the mark like other series in this vein (genre). ![]()
